not a lot happening right now, craft-wise or otherwise. if nothing else, i finally got around to something i’ve said i’d do for seriously years. i finally patched the weird old armchair i’ve been dragging around from apartment to apartment. all my other chairs have been sold, peed on by beary when he was going through a weird pee-on-everything phase, or left behind because i got tired of moving them around. this is my only remaining chair. and it was looking pretty rough. but it’s better now, i think.

i don’t know what it says about me that finally patching this chair has been probably the highlight of my life in the last week or two. even better is that i got the fabric for free at waste not want not during a crafting session. when you donate a few dollars to hang out in their space for the craft nights, you also get to paw through their scrap fabric and yarn. i’m constantly destashing, so i try not to even look through the boxes. but it’s a great resource especially for something like this. i got to save my old chair, and i didn’t have to spend any money on fabric. perfect.
